14.11.2009 Päivitystä AB tilanteeseen! / Updating the AB situation!

Hiljalleen kypsyteltyjä uusia hittejä oli tarkoitus tallentaa vuoden 2008 marraskuun alusta lähtien, mutta rumpalimme Antin traaginen kuolema lokakuun lopulla laittoi aikeet jäihin... Vuoden 2009 toiminta on ollut arvatenkin verkkaista, mutta viikkojen/kuukausien vieriessä, bändin jäsenet hiljalleen kaivautuivat jälleen treenikämpälle. Kevään tuskailun ja turhautumisen aikana ystävämme Mikko Seppänen istahti rumpujakkaralle ja on siitä lähtien hoitanut patteristoa. Kesän alku meni treenatessa(ja ryy...stäessä kahvia) ja viimeinkin olimme valmiit nousemaan lavalle ensimmäistä kertaa ilman Anttia. Heinäkuun alussa AB soitti keikan yksityisjuhlissa - Juforokk, Korian Tammirannassa. Sen jälkeen treenauspuoli kiihtyi entisestään ja valmistauduimme pitkään ja raskaaseen keikkaan menehtyneen rumpalimme muistoksi. Keikan jälkeen, lokakuun lopulla, päätimme laittaa bändin ikäänkuin odotustilaan...jäihin...telakalle... sopivaa sanavaihtoehtoa vaikea hakea. Päätökseen ei sisälly sen suurempaa dramatiikkaa ja suhteellisen pitkän yhteisen historiamme jälkeen, päätös ei todellakaan ollut helppo. Haluammekin kiittää kaikkia saamastamme tuesta ja kannustuksesta vuosien varrella ja toivomme, että AB on tarjonnut teille mieleenpainuvia kokemuksia ja hyviä muistoja. Sovimme kuitenkin, että mitään ei ole lopullisesti lukkoon lyöty. Tämä saattaa olla vain kaivattua lomaa itse kullekin jäsenelle - ainakin toivomme niin...

Slowly cooked new songs were about to be recorded in the end of 2008 when a terrible incident came to. Our drummer Antti passed away in October and obviously set us back for a while... In 2009, the paste has been slow but during the spring we found a new drummer Mikko Seppänen to fill in. The beginning of summer went by in training and finally we were ready to take on the stage. In July we played our first gig without Antti in a private party called Juforokk. After that, it was all about training and preparing for AB's, by far, the longest and hardest gig ever. After the gig in 24th of October, we decided it was time to put Access Beyond into a sort of a stand-by mode. The decision was made in good atmosphere without dramatics and after rather long, pleasant history it definitely wasn't easy. We want to thank you all for supporting us during the years and we hope that AB has given you all experiences and good memories! We agreed that nothing is said permanently...this might just be a long furlorned vacation - or at least we hope so...

12.8.2009 New drummer found

Our old friend and "drum technician" Mikko Seppänen has taken a place in drums. AB's first priority for this year has been practice old songs with Mikko.  Currently a look for the future are do some new songs and gigs without schedules... we will see you...stay tuned...

18.8.2008 Thanks for the Fans who supported to us  at Summer of Rock happening !!!

In latter part of the year Access Beyond will get ready for the studio sessions by compose and train  new songs! It is possible to see AB on stage too, but anything isn't agreed!

The summer has been quiet life in AB world(especially in website) , but dont't worry! Access Beyond will do the next gig before the autumn at Summer of Rock happening in Kouvola!
